Catholic Schools Week 2012We are looking forward to our annual Catholic Schools Week celebration starting January 29. Catholic Schools Week is a time we remember and reflect upon the many reasons that make our school special. Each day will be filled with activities to remind us of how blessed we are to be at PJPII.
Catholic Schools Week 2012 Themes:
1/29: Kick-off Masses
All are welcome to join PJPII students and staff at 12:00pm Mass at one of our four parishes: Five Holy Martyrs, Immaculate Conception, Our Lady of Fatima or St. Pancratius. Following Mass, we are hosting an open house at PJPII from 1:30 - 3:00 pm. All are welcome! Bring a friend!
1/30: Celebrating Community Events continue with a prayer service at 7:50 am in the Hall. Students in grades 4-8 will be visiting MB Financial Bank as part of our community partnership.
1/31: Celebrating our Faith
Bishop Rojas will be here to celebrate Mass and give a special blessing in honor of Catholics Schools Week. After, we will have an awards ceremony honoring 2nd Quarter Perfect Attendance and Honor Roll students.
2/1: Celebrating our Families
All parents and grandparents are encouraged to join us at 8:00 am for donuts and coffee in the Hall. Families are invited for Science Family Night from 6:00-8:00 pm in Abramowicz Hall. And check out our toes! It is crazy sock day!
2/2: Celebrating our Students
Our incredible Parent Associaton will provide a free hot-dog lunch for all students. Look for some crazy curls and some silly spiked hair! It is crazy hair day!
2/3: Celebrating our Faculty & Staff
Students in grades 1-3 will be attending a special performance at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The PSA will provide lunch for the staff, and students will be watching a movie in the Hall.

Welcome Ms. Amarino!We are pleased to announce Ms. Lauren Amarino as our new 5th grade teacher! Ms. Amarino is a graduate of Lewis University. She has previously worked at St. Bruno and St. Daniel the Prophet, and currently works in the CCD program at St. Daniel.
